As of January 18th, players can now enjoy a new take on spaceship exploration thanks to Rockfish Games, since they announced that highly anticipated spaceship shooter Everspace 2 is officially available on Steam Early Access and the GOG Games in Development program.
Synopsis: Priced at $39.99, Everspace 2 is a single-player action RPG set in a massive open world, filled with tons of loot, a variety of alien species, and a vaste sci-fi story to follow. Throughout the duration of early access, new features and content will slowly be added through updates, such as:
- More star systems, locations, enemies, activities etc.
- More player ship subclasses and tiers
- More player levels
- More main and side mission story content
- More alien creatures
- Fast travel system
- Game difficulty settings
- Natural phenomena like lightning fields, black holes, solar storms, etc.
And so much more!
The full version for PC will be released at a reasonably increased price in the first half of 2022 and come with UI and text language support for German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
The planetary atmosphere that is displayed in this trailer is absolutely stunning. You could even say viewers were left starstruck. The details in the graphics create a more immersive world, and my personal favorite part is that preview of the city – the neon signs and the tall buildings surrounding us are so incredibly intriguing.
