Universal Pictures has announced Disclosure Day, a new original event film created and directed by Steven Spielberg. Framed around the global implications of a sudden truth revealed to humans, the film positions its central question plainly: what happens when the truth is no longer hidden?

The film stars Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.

Disclosure Day is based on a story by Spielberg, with a screenplay written by longtime collaborator David Koepp. Koepp and Spielberg have previously worked together on Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, films that collectively earned more than $3 billion globally. Koepp also wrote the screenplay for Jurassic World Rebirth.
