Level 33 Entertainment has announced a theatrical release date for The Containment, a supernatural horror film directed by brothers Jack Zagha Kababie and Yossy Zagha Kababie. The film will open exclusively in theaters across the United States and Canada on January 23, 2026.

The film stars Gia Hunter as Caroline Cobbler, a troubled young woman whose life unravels following the death of her father. After encountering a dark force, Caroline becomes possessed, prompting her mother to seek help from the church. According to the film’s synopsis, that decision leads to a threat more dangerous than the possession itself.
The supporting cast includes Jack Gouldbourne, Charlotte Hunter, and Fernanda Romero. The Containment is co-written by the Zagha Kababie brothers alongside David Desola, with the directing duo also serving as producers on the project.
Level 33 Entertainment acquired the film from Black Mandala, which is handling worldwide sales. The release marks a continued push for theatrical genre titles, with The Containment positioned as a North American exclusive when it arrives in cinemas later this month.
