Miracle Media brings The Fetus, a gleefully demented body-horror comedy from first-time feature director Joe Lam, to UK digital on July 6, 2026. Described by Film Threat as “a fascinating body-horror nightmare… delightfully demented horror comedy,” the film reunites two of horror’s most beloved performers in a nightmare pregnancy story steeped in satanic mayhem.

The Fetus follows young Alessa (played by Lauren LaVera) as she finds herself trapped in a rapidly accelerating pregnancy that defies all medical explanation. Terrified by her changing body, she and her boyfriend Chris (Julian Curtis) turn to her estranged father Maddox (Bill Moseley) for help — only to discover that the fetus is a bloodthirsty, satanic entity summoned by a wartime pact that unleashed a curse upon their lineage. An unholy comedy-horror in the tradition of Rosemary’s Baby and Prevenge, the film earns its gore-fest label while keeping the dark laughs coming.
Lam writes and directs his feature debut with a clear love of the genre. Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) and Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3) bring instant horror credibility to the proceedings, and the casting alone should tell genre fans everything they need to know.
