Epic Pictures’ horror label DREAD, in partnership with Fathom Entertainment, brings The Jester 2 to theaters nationwide for a special two-night screening event on September 15 and 16, 2025. Directed by Colin Krawchuk, the sequel continues the legacy of the supernatural trickster first introduced in Krawchuk’s viral short films and the 2023 feature The Jester.
In The Jester 2, teen magician Max faces a deadly Halloween showdown with the Jester—a supernatural entity whose illusions are deadly and whose tricks demand more than skill to survive. As the night progresses, Max must confront a series of dangerous traps, outwit the Jester’s dark magic, and ultimately fight for her life.
The special theatrical screenings will include exclusive behind-the-scenes content, featuring cast interviews, on-set footage, and a detailed look at the making of the sequel. This featurette is available only during the two-night Fathom event.
The film stars Michael Sheffield, Kaitlyn Trentham, Jessica Ambuehl, and Dingani Beza, and is produced by Patrick Ewald, Cole Payne, and Jake Heineke. The Jester 2 is a DREAD original production in association with Traverse Terror, with distribution fully financed and managed by Epic Pictures.
Tickets go on sale August 15 through Fathom Events and participating theater box offices.
