From writer-directors Brian Kazmarck (Terminal Legacy) and Kazy Tauginas (The Equalizer 2, Dolemite Is My Name), Mirror Life examines the dark consequences of unchecked experimentation in a world already on edge. The film follows documentary filmmaker Tracy Kovalsky (Courtney Cavanagh, Chicago Fire) as she investigates the disappearance of her cousin Jordan (Tauginas), who vanishes after participating in an illegal clinical drug trial for a supposed miracle treatment known as Dumitor.
As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that the experimental drug has catastrophic side effects. Within the confines of a locked-down facility, test subjects mutate into violent, adrenaline-driven predators, hunting the uninfected in a terrifying outbreak. Blending found footage elements with traditional cinematic storytelling, Mirror Life delivers a cautionary look at human ambition and the ethical boundaries of science.
Following its U.S. debut, Mirror Life will premiere in the U.K. on digital platforms beginning November 10, distributed by Reel2Reel Films.
