Universal Kids Digital Studio has launched Monster Tots, a new animated series aimed at young horror fans. The show is now streaming on the Universal Jr. YouTube channel, with new episodes premiering weekly. Episodes 1 and 2 are available now.
Monster Tots follows four pint-sized versions of classic Universal Monsters — Elle (the mummy), Frankie (Frankenstein’s monster), Woof (the Wolfman), and Vinnie (Dracula) — as they play, explore, and go on adventures around their spooky playhouse. Built around themes of teamwork, creative problem-solving, sharing, and caring for one another, the series packages the Universal Monsters legacy into something welcoming for the youngest members of the horror family.
The character designs come from Crash McCreery, the legendary Universal artist and designer whose creature work spans decades of the studio’s genre output. Having McCreery bring these tiny monsters to life is a detail that will not be lost on lifelong fans.
For horror households with kids, Monster Tots is exactly the kind of on-ramp that brings the next generation into the genre with warmth, humor, and the most iconic monster roster in cinema history.
New episodes of Monster Tots premiere weekly on the Universal Jr. YouTube channel. Watch Episodes 1 and 2 now.
