Vampires of the Velvet Lounge arrives in theaters March 20, 2026, bringing a Southern-set vampire tale that blends dating apps, decadence, and dark comedy.

Directed and written by Adam Sherman, the film centers on an absinthe bar tucked away in the American South, where Countess Elizabeth Báthory and her coven of vampires lure unsuspecting singles through online dating platforms. Seduction quickly turns lethal as the group feeds to preserve their youth. Their routine, however, is disrupted when Elizabeth connects with an undercover vampire hunter and a group of ill-prepared bros, setting off a chain of escalating confrontations inside the neon-lit lounge.
The ensemble cast includes Mena Suvari, Dichen Lachman, Stephen Dorff, India Eisley, Tom Berenger, Rosa Salazar, and Tyrese Gibson. Sherman produces alongside Marcus Englefield and George Lee for Storyoscopic Films, with Noémi Santo co-producing.
Presented by Strand Releasing, the film will open exclusively in theaters on March 20 in select markets, including New York and Los Angeles.
