The Woodstock Film Festival has announced the feature lineup for its 27th edition, running October 14 through October 18, 2026 across venues in Woodstock, Rosendale, Kingston, and Saugerties, New York. Tucked inside a program of 37 narrative features and 26 documentaries is a genre run worth the drive up the Hudson Valley.
Leading it is the East Coast premiere of Trauma, or Monsters All, the closing chapter of Larry Fessenden’s blue-collar Universal Monster cycle that began with Habit and continued through Depraved and Black Out. The film sets a clash of nightmarish titans in a small town nursing its own dark history. Fessenden is doing double duty at the festival — he also performs with the Fiercely Independent Band, alongside Brian Devine and John Mazlish, during a live music night at the historic Colony.
Russell Goldman’s Sender takes a New York premiere slot, following a newly sober woman who starts finding a disturbing number of packages she never ordered on her doorstep. Britt Lower (Severance) stars and attends the festival for an In Conversation session. Both Trauma, or Monsters All and Sender also play the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival the same month, making October a strong two-city run for each.
Also in the narrative lineup: Tony Gilroy’s Behemoth!, Owen Kibby’s Homunculus, the world premiere of Suzi Yoonessi’s Mother Wolf, and Wicker from Eleanor Wilson and Alex Fischer. On the craft side, Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen) teaches a masterclass on pre-production called Fix It in Prep.
The 27th Woodstock Film Festival runs October 14 through October 18, 2026. Individual tickets are on sale now at woodstockfilmfestival.org.
