Indie developer Nenin of Extend Games has released 3AM Stories, a free browser horror game from Thailand that asks players to talk back to the dead. Inspired by the country’s late-night ghost story radio shows, where listeners call in to share their scariest experiences, the game casts you as the DJ on duty at 3 a.m.

There are no dialogue buttons. Instead, you answer each ghost caller out loud through your microphone, and the game listens to what you say. A night takes about nine minutes, and multiple endings reward return shifts. The station is only “on air” from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. in the player’s local time, just like a real late-night broadcast.
3AM Stories launched October 20, 2026, and the developer reports that Thai players started more than 10,000 shifts in its first week. Thai YouTuber zbing z., who has 22 million subscribers, has also played it. The game was built by a single developer as a demo to test whether playing with your voice works before the full game is made.
