Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios have announced that Bambi: The Reckoning—the latest chapter in the Twisted Childhood Universe—will premiere in U.S. cinemas on July 25, 2025 via Seismic Releasing. Directed by Dan Allen and scripted by Rhys Warrington, the live-action feature reimagines the classic deer as a mutated predator bent on vengeance.
The story begins when a mother and son survive a car accident only to find themselves pursued by Bambi, whose rage is fueled by the loss of his own mother. The cast includes Roxanne McKee, Nicola Wright, Russell Geoffrey Banks, Tom Mulheron, and Samira Mighty.
Produced by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and Scott Chambers, and executive-produced by Stuart Alson and Nicole Holland, Bambi: The Reckoning continues the team’s reinterpretation of public-domain icons following Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey. Tickets go on sale July 10, 2025. ITN Studios and Premiere Entertainment are handling worldwide sales.
