A group of familiar fairy tale characters is getting a horror makeover in EVER AFTER, the new feature from writer/director Laszlo Illes. Level 33 Entertainment has acquired the film for an exclusive theatrical release in the United States and Canada beginning September 4, 2026.

EVER AFTER brings five recognizable horror genre performers together on screen: Mark Sheppard (Supernatural), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th) and Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange).
The story follows a group of friends whose bachelorette weekend at a secluded forest lodge takes a turn when they discover that the surrounding woods are home to murderous fanatics. These killers believe they are the heroes and villains of classic fairy tales, including Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf, the Evil Witch and Prince Charming.
30 Second TV Spot
For horror fans who enjoy seeing familiar genre faces in new roles, the film offers an opportunity to watch Sheppard, Aarons, Berryman, Hodder and McDowell share the screen in the same horror feature. Director Laszlo Illes described working with the cast as a long-held dream and said he hopes audiences enjoy the film’s dark fairy tale approach.
EVER AFTER will open exclusively in theaters across the United States and Canada on September 4, 2026, ahead of a worldwide rollout. Tickets are now available through Fandango.
