A new psychological horror film is coming together with familiar faces from television leading the cast. Catherine Ashmore Bradley (The Really Loud House) and Cameron Crovetti (The Boys) are set to star in DollKeeper, an upcoming feature from writer-director Jay Henric. Production is expected to begin in the coming weeks in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Bradley will play Sara, a teenage girl confronting a terrifying figure connected to her family’s past, while Crovetti will portray her older brother, Dylan. Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, with the filmmakers offering only a brief glimpse into the film’s psychological horror premise. Additional casting announcements are expected.
Bradley is best known for playing Luan Loud in Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House, appearing in more than 28 episodes of the series, as well as the feature films A Loud House Christmas and A Really Haunted Loud House. Her other credits include voicing Deema in Bubble Guppies, along with appearances in City on a Hill and Law & Order: SVU. She landed the role of Sara following a nationwide casting search that received more than 11,000 submissions.

Crovetti is recognizable to genre audiences for his role as Ryan, the son of Homelander, in Prime Video’s The Boys. He has also appeared in HBO’s Big Little Lies and horror films including Goodnight Mommy and Oracle, along with the action feature Boy Kills World and Netflix’s The Gray Man.
Henric will direct from her own screenplay, with Stephen Henric producing through Voodoo Pictures. Her previous horror work includes the short films Don’t Let It In, which was later adapted into a feature, and Unknown, which received the Scariest Short Film Prize at Popcorn Frights.
With its family-centered premise and a mysterious figure tied to the past, DollKeeper adds another psychological horror project to the upcoming production slate. More details, including additional cast announcements, are expected as the film moves toward production.
