Jason Universe has revealed the long-awaited arrival of Jason Voorhees in Dead by Daylight — and he’s making his debut in blood-soaked fashion. The Bloody Jason skin was unveiled over the weekend at IGN Live 2026, with both green band and red band clips showing the iconic slasher in action. The character goes live in-game on June 16, timed to coincide with Dead by Daylight‘s tenth anniversary.
The reveal clips offer a first-person cinematic of Jason stalking a Survivor before unleashing a lethal combination of attacks. The Bloody Jason look serves as the killer’s Prestige cosmetic set, giving players the gore-drenched, classic-era Jason that horror fans have been hoping for since Friday the 13th licensing uncertainties kept him out of the asymmetric survival horror game for years.
Alongside the gameplay reveal, Jason Universe also previewed new merchandise from Youtooz (available for pre-order), Gutter Garb, and Spirit. Fans who couldn’t attend IGN Live in person can enter a giveaway for one of 13 Jason Universe prize packs — entries are open through Friday, June 13.
