DREAD has shared an exclusive clip from Bystanders now on video-on-demand platforms in North America.
Directed by Mary Beth McAndrews, Bystanders garnered significant acclaim during its festival run, winning seven awards at HorrorHound Film Festival, including Best Feature and Best Directing. The film also earned recognition at Nightmares Film Festival.
Director Mary Beth McAndrews expressed a deep personal connection to the project, describing it as a cathartic exploration of themes relevant to today’s social climate. “Bystanders has been incredibly close to my heart since I first read Jamie Alvey’s script,” says the film’s director, Mary Beth McAndrews. “As a sexual assault survivor, being able to tell this story in all of its gory glory has been incredibly cathartic and liberating.
