Crazy Old Lady is set to debut on streaming platforms February 27. Directed and written by Martín Mauregui and executive produced by J. A. Bayona, the film stars Carmen Maura alongside Daniel Hendler.

The story unfolds during a stormy night when Pedro agrees to watch over Alicia, the aging mother of his ex-girlfriend. What begins as a reluctant favor quickly escalates when Alicia refuses to let him leave the house. Isolated and increasingly vulnerable, Pedro finds himself forced to comply with her unpredictable demands in order to make it through the night.

Produced by Bayona, Belén Atienza, Ramón Campos, and Gabriela Carcova, the film centers on confinement and psychological pressure within a single location. With its contained premise and escalating tension, Crazy Old Lady positions itself as a survival-focused thriller built around performance and atmosphere.
