deadCenter Film has released the full schedule for the 25th Annual deadCenter Film Festival, set for June 11–15, 2025. This year marks the festival’s largest slate to date, presenting more than 200 independent films, including 25 world premieres and an “Okie Style” showcase featuring nearly two dozen Oklahoma-based filmmakers.

Festivalgoers can explore the complete lineup through the deadCenter mobile app (iOS and Android) or on the festival’s website. In addition to screenings, the five-day event offers an expanded education series with over a dozen workshops and panels, covering topics such as camera techniques, non-fiction trends, intimacy in cinema, and production skills for young creatives.

Education remains central to the organization’s mission. deadCenter University (dCU) returns with free programming tracks:

  • dCU at Rose State — film education for rural high-school students

  • Youth Camp at Oklahoma City Community College — four days of collaborative filmmaking

  • Teacher Track at Oklahoma City University — professional development toward a media-arts credential (limited spots remain)

Recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, deadCenter is one of only 27 Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide in Live Action Short, Animated Short, and Documentary Short categories. Networking events and nightly parties will provide additional opportunities for filmmakers and fans to connect.

Festival passes are available now for $225, granting priority access to every screening, panel, and special event. A limited number of $10 single-film tickets will be sold at the door 20 minutes before each showing, subject to availability.
