Delusion, the acclaimed interactive horror theater experience created by writer and director Jon Braver, is heading back to where it all began. Presented by Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the 2026 production — Delusion: Den of the Mosquito — runs on select nights from September 17 through November 8 at the historic Beckett Mansion in Los Angeles, the very location where the series launched in 2011.
The new show transports guests to a 1920s New Orleans brothel, where they arrive as agents of Anomaly, a clandestine organization investigating supernatural threats. What unfolds is a twisted tale of crime, family, mobsters, monsters, and vampire courtesans whose carefully kept secrets are very much worth uncovering. The production returns to the intimate, character-driven format that defined Delusion’s earliest seasons: each performance is limited to just ten guests, unfolds over approximately 50 minutes, and features split paths, suspense-driven scenes, and the kind of close audience interaction that turns bystanders into participants.
This year’s installment is also notably longer than recent editions, with Braver bringing back storytelling elements from the original experience and doubling the runtime of previous installments. The Beckett Mansion’s moody atmosphere and historic rooms are woven into the narrative itself, making the setting as much a part of the show as any actor or effect.
“Returning to the Beckett Mansion feels like coming home. Longtime fans will immediately recognize the intimate, character-driven storytelling that shaped Delusion from the beginning,” said Jon Braver, creator, writer, and director. “In a world increasingly lived through screens, shared live experiences like this feel more necessary than ever.”
Tickets start at $143 on select nights and are on sale now. Delusion: Den of the Mosquito is for guests ages 18 and over. For tickets and event information, visit enterdelusion.com.
