Heart to Art Productions has opened the world premiere of Fall Into Oz, a family-friendly immersive experience that lets audiences walk a real yellow brick road through an outdoor version of The Wizard of Oz. Performances run weekends through October 25, 2026, at A Secret Rose Garden in Woodland Hills, California.

The story begins when a tornado sweeps Dorothy and her fellow travelers, the guests, into Oz. To find their way toward the Emerald City, participants tackle interactive challenges built around the Scarecrow’s brains, the Tin Man’s heart, and the Cowardly Lion’s courage. The 75-minute adventure includes live characters, hands-on quests, and merchants along the path, and it is pitched at children and adults alike.

Rochelle Perry, artistic director and founder of Heart to Art Productions, created the show and co-wrote it with director and production manager Justin Rose. Anne Mesa produces. Cast members include Sabrina Ebright as Dorothy, Paul McCrillis as the Wizard, Jillian Brotman as the Wicked Witch, Sue Gisser as Glinda, and Dayton Axle as the Cowardly Lion, with several roles shared across performance days. Production photography is by Airn Media.

Capacity is capped at 12 tickets per time slot, so the walk stays intimate. Slots run every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. A $40 Wizard Pass includes a goodie bag of treats to collect along the way, while $30 general admission tickets are available through OnStage411 with code 210.

For anyone building a fall calendar around spooky-adjacent, all-ages outings, it is a gentle way to bring younger audiences into immersive theatre, with a Wicked Witch on hand for a little pumpkin-season menace.

Fall Into Oz plays at A Secret Rose Garden, 23444 Oxnard St., Woodland Hills, California 91367, with free street parking in the residential area; organizers recommend early arrival and carpooling. Tickets and details are at hearttoartproductions.org.
