Aero Films will open Terrestrial, the new sci-fi thriller from Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink, in theaters across the United States and Canada on October 23. The film stars Jermaine Fowler (Sorry to Bother You) as a host whose long-overdue college reunion weekend spirals into something much stranger. You can read our review of the film here.

Terrestrial follows four former college friends gathering for a reunion that should be a celebration. Their host, an aspiring science fiction writer on the verge of a breakthrough, starts fighting to hold onto his grip on reality as a string of uncanny, otherworldly events makes that increasingly difficult. What begins as a nostalgic weekend curdles into a test of the group’s sanity and survival.
Pink directs from a screenplay by Samuel Johnson and Connor Diedrich. Fowler leads a cast that includes James Morosini and Pauline Chalamet. The film marks the launch title for Aero Films, a new distributor founded by Ryan Pallas, a former Warner Bros. distribution executive who has built a team with acquisitions and marketing experience from Neon, Mubi, FilmNation, Bleecker Street, and NBCUniversal.
