Saban Films has unveiled the official trailer for FEED, a new Irish vampire horror film arriving on digital and on demand platforms on August 14, 2026. FEED centers on Orla, a grieving woman attending what begins as a weekend intervention with friends. When her blood awakens the Dearg-Due — a creature from Irish vampire legend — the nightmare spreads fast. As the ancient entity infects her companions and shatters their minds, it offers Orla a choice that’s worse than death: submit as the vampire’s next host and be reunited with her dead family, or destroy the monster and lose that chance forever. The film stars Grace Collender, Clinton Liberty, Daisy Jelley, Niamh Hogan, Rhys Mannion, and Oskar Smith.
Van Belle wrote and directed the 83-minute film, which is produced by Jacqueline Kerrin and Dominic Wright.
The Dearg-Due is a seldom-explored figure in vampire horror, making FEED a genuinely fresh entry in the subgenre. Rather than leaning on Dracula archetypes, Van Belle grounds the creature in Irish folklore — and wraps it in a story about grief and the unbearable weight of an impossible choice.
FEED arrives on digital and on demand on August 14, 2026.
