SRHP Films’ supernatural horror-crime thriller Holy Father has collected a string of festival wins as its producers pursue a distribution deal targeting the 2026 Halloween season. The film stars Oscar nominee Eric Roberts as Father Isaac Wales, an exorcism specialist drawn into a series of ritualistic murders in Savannah, Georgia — and into a confrontation with an ancient demon that has already claimed one of his colleagues.

The premise puts Wales in an uncomfortable triangle: working alongside a skeptical detective who doesn’t share his beliefs, and a comrade who possesses genuine supernatural insight. As Wales investigates the murders, he races to stop the demon before it claims more victims. The film was directed, written, and edited by Shravan Tiwari, who previously helmed Holy Ghost (2025), which reached audiences in 39 countries via Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Google Play Movies. Holy Father is the second installment of Tiwari’s faith-tethered Holy Trilogy, with Holy Son currently in development for a 2027 production in Augusta, Georgia.

Roberts — whose credits span more than 800 productions across film, television, and stage — leads a supporting cast that includes Mary Lirette as Luna and Bryan Easley as Sam Harper. The film was produced by SRHP Films founder Sandip Patel.

The festival circuit has responded well. Holy Father took best thriller honors at both the Anatolia International Film Festival in Istanbul and the Hallucinea Film Festival in Paris. Roberts received a best actor award at Toronto’s Alternative Film Festival, where Tiwari also won best director. The film took best film at the Pinewood Studios/Lift-Off Global Network Filmmaker Sessions Volume 7, and earned a best screenplay nomination at the City Film Festival of Stockholm.

“Audiences have a seemingly unquenchable thirst for supernatural horror thrillers, and Holy Father is an excellent fit,” said producer Sandip Patel. Roberts added simply: “‘Holy Father’ proved to be a fun and memorable adventure with the SRHP Films team.”

SRHP Films is currently in active talks with domestic and international distributors.
