The story begins at a surprise birthday party for Lucy (Zollicoffer), an emotionally vulnerable woman who experiences unexplainable phenomena that threaten to turn the best night of her life into a never-ending nightmare. Nothing is quite what it seems, and the film keeps viewers guessing until its final frames.

Lees Johnson wrote the screenplay with Martha Duzett and Davey Morrison. Producers include Jordan Augustine, Ashley Cook, Jacob Lees Johnson, Scott Martin, Derek Romrell, Jack Sheehan, and Michael Thomas Slifkin, with Jon Andrus and Daniel Brown serving as executive producers.

The film arrives with a notable festival run behind it. I See the Demon won Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay at Grimmfest 2025, Manchester’s International Festival of Fantastic Films, and swept FilmQuest 2025 honors for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Ensemble Cast, Best Score, Best Editing, and Best VFX. It was also an Official Selection of Cinequest, the Brooklyn Film Festival, and Atlanta Horror Fest.

I See the Demon is available on digital platforms from Archstone Entertainment on October 20, 2026.
