Eli Roth’s ICE CREAM MAN made its presence felt at Monsterpalooza in Los Angeles over Memorial Day weekend, rolling in an ice cream truck that offered convention-goers a taste of what’s coming to theaters nationwide on August 7, 2026. Guests were treated to frozen delights β and a photo op that, if the film is any indication, they’ll want to survive.

ICE CREAM MAN follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man begins serving the local kids sweet treats with horrifying results. It’s a premise Roth has described as one he’s been developing for over two decades, and the Monsterpalooza activation β complete with branded truck and on-site scares β made clear the marketing campaign is leaning hard into that nostalgic menace.
Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel, Thanksgiving) directs from a script he co-wrote with Noah Belson (The Rotten Fruit), and also appears in the film as a cast member. Leading the ensemble is Ari Millen (Orphan Black) as the titular Ice Cream Man, joined by Benjamin Byron Davis (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Karen Cliche (Thanksgiving), Dylan Hawco (Heartland), Sarah Abbott (Netflix’s The Body, Poser), Shiloh O’Reilly (Thanksgiving), Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid’s Tale), Charlie Storey (Thanksgiving), and Kiori Mirza Waldman. The film is produced by Roth alongside Christopher Woodrow, Raj Singh, and Kate Harrison for MCT Studios and The Horror Section, with GRAMMY Award-winning rapper Nas on board as executive producer.
