HIM follows Cameron Cade (Withers), a rising football star whose dreams collapse after an attack by a fan leaves him with a severe brain injury. On the brink of losing his future, Cameron is offered a second chance when his idol, legendary quarterback Isaiah White (Wayans), invites him to train at his private compound. There, Cameron meets Isaiah’s influencer wife, Elsie (Fox), and begins an intense training regimen. But Isaiah’s mentorship takes on a disturbing edge, pushing Cameron into dangerous territory where success demands sacrifices he may not be prepared to make.

The film’s cast also features Tim Heidecker, Jim Jefferies, MMA fighter Maurice Greene, and musicians Guapdad 4000 and Tierra Whack in their feature film debuts.

Based on a Black List screenplay by Zack Akers and Skip Bronkie, HIM is directed by Tipping and produced by Ian Cooper, Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld, and Jamal M. Watson for Monkeypaw Productions. David Kern and Kate Oh serve as executive producers.

HIM continues Peele’s focus on genre-driven stories that dissect culture, celebrity, and identity through the lens of horror.
