Dark thriller Beast of War will arrive in theaters and on digital platforms October 10, 2025. The World War II survival horror is written and directed by Kiah Roache-Turner, known for Wyrmwood and Sting.
The film follows a young troop of Australian soldiers whose boat is destroyed while crossing the Timor Sea. Stranded on a shrinking life raft with limited resources, they face not only the threat of enemy attack but also the relentless pursuit of a massive great white shark.
Beast of War stars Mark Coles Smith, Joel Nankervis, Sam Delich, Lee Tiger Halley, Sam Parsonson, Maximillian Johnson, Tristan McKinnon, and Aswan Reid. The story blends the claustrophobic tension of war survival with the primal terror of a predator circling the waters, positioning the soldiers against both man and nature.
