Knott’s Berry Farm announced today that its popular spring celebration, the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival, has been selected as a winner in the 2026 Good Housekeeping Travel Awards. The recognition highlights the festival’s unique blend of history, food, and entertainment rooted in the park’s origins.

Held annually from mid-to-late March through April, the Boysenberry Festival pays tribute to the berry that launched the Knott family legacy. Each year the event features an extensive lineup of sweet and savory dishes, all showcasing boysenberry as the star ingredient. Beyond the culinary offerings, guests can browse the Boysenberry Festival Crafts Fair, where more than two dozen local vendors present berry-inspired artisan goods throughout Ghost Town.
Entertainment plays a major role in the festival’s appeal. Visitors can participate in Boysen Bear’s Pie Kitchen Games, join the Pie Eating Contest, or enjoy live stage productions such as Knott’s Preserved, a musical celebration of the park’s heritage. Attractions like Old MacDonald’s Barn and the History of the Boysenberry Museum further connect the event to Knott’s agricultural past.
Knott’s expressed enthusiasm for the recognition, noting that the festival continues to honor its roots while offering a variety of food, entertainment, and family-friendly experiences.
