New key art has been released for Hokum, an upcoming horror feature starring Adam Scott. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on May 1.

Scott plays novelist Ohm Bauman, who travels to a remote inn to scatter the ashes of his parents. The trip begins as a quiet retreat, but Bauman soon becomes drawn into local stories about a witch believed to haunt the inn’s honeymoon suite.

As he spends more time on the property, the writer begins experiencing unsettling visions that blur the boundary between folklore and reality. When a sudden disappearance disrupts the quiet setting, Bauman is forced to investigate the history surrounding the inn while confronting unresolved aspects of his own past.
