The Overlook Film Festival has revealed the full schedule for its 10th anniversary edition, expanding its lineup with new films, live events, and immersive experiences. The festival will take place April 9–12 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Prytania Theatres, bringing together filmmakers and fans for a four-day celebration of genre cinema.

This year’s event will feature 62 films from 10 countries, including 36 features and 26 short films, making it the largest program in the festival’s history. The newly announced additions nearly double the size of the features lineup and introduce a new programming section titled Side Shows, highlighting films that stretch beyond traditional horror while maintaining the tone and tension associated with the festival’s programming.

Titles in the new Side Shows section include IFC’s Over Your Dead Body, Magnolia’s Normal, and Lionsgate’s The Furious. The broader lineup also adds a range of genre projects such as Affection, American Dollhouse, Buddy, Buffet Infinity, Capturing Bigfoot, CRAMPS! A Period Piece, Flush, Grind, Mārama, The Restoration at Grayson Manor, and Suffocation.

Beyond film screenings, the festival will host panels, immersive experiences, and live performances. Highlights include the return of The Boulet Brothers, who will launch their Dragula: Titans Tour at the festival, as well as the closing night celebration Théâtre des Vampires, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire.

The immersive program will also expand with interactive experiences such as Claws, The Pumpkin Pie Show Presents: One-On-Ones, and Rebozo, each offering unique audience-driven encounters designed to extend the festival’s storytelling beyond the screen.

With an expanded film slate and a variety of live programming, the Overlook Film Festival’s 10th anniversary aims to reflect the evolving landscape of genre storytelling while continuing its tradition of showcasing new voices in horror and related genres.
