Calling all B-shark movie fans! Wild Eye Releasing has announced an official sequel to Ojuia Shark! The first Ouija Shark splashed onto the screen just over a year ago and now the second installment of the series is currently filming with plans to complete principal photography this year.
Wild Eye Releasing and Survival Zombie Films have teamed up to bring the ghostly great white back for more blood. The Ouija Shark follow-up will see Ouija Shark veteran and fan-favorite John Migliore reprise his role as the shield-slinging, shark-fighting father named Anthony. In addition to reprising his role, Migliore is also slated to take over directing duties for the film and penned the script. Migliore’s previous directing credits include Creature from Cannibal Creek (2019), Exorcism of the Dead (2017) and Poltergeist Encounters (2016).
Also reprising their roles from the original film are Kylie Gough (as Illyana) and Simon Wheeldon (as Caldura). Deborah Jayne Reilly Smith appears as a mysterious new character named Cressida. Mike Trebilcock and Semetary Spawn will be providing the movie’s dramatic score as well as creating some brand new songs for the film.
The Ouija Shark sequel is guaranteed to be packed with tons of shark action, wild special effects, and promises to be even more bizarre and inter-dimensionally weird. “The world of Ouija Shark is steeped in both fantasy and the occult, making almost anything possible. I’m looking forward to providing more than a few surprises,” Migliore said.
A release date hasn’t been announced yet, but Wild Eye Releasing has leaked a few screenshots from filming to whet fans appetites
