Alpake Entertainment has released the uncensored red band trailer for Shiver Me Timbers, a horror-comedy reimagining of Popeye as a relentless killer. The film, directed by Paul Mann, blends slasher elements with dark humor and is set to be showcased at the European Film Market in Berlin, where EuroObscura will handle international sales.

In Shiver Me Timbers, Olive Oyl, her brother Castor, and their friends embark on a camping trip to witness a meteor shower. The night takes a violent turn when a meteor transforms Popeye into a monstrous force, leaving a trail of chaos in his wake.

Gravitas Ventures, an Anthem Sports & Entertainment Company, has secured North American distribution, with a release scheduled for April 2025. The red band trailer highlights the film’s combination of exaggerated gore, satirical comedy, and a fresh interpretation of the classic character.

With its European Film Market debut approaching, Shiver Me Timbers is gaining attention from international buyers.
