FOUND TV, the streaming platform devoted to found footage and analog horror, has set release plans for A Possession in Lincoln County, its first original feature produced entirely in-house. The film has its theatrical premiere at the Hamilton Film Festival on Thursday, October 22, 2026, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers, and streams worldwide on FOUND TV on Friday, October 23. FOUND TV+ subscribers get one-day early access on October 22.

Directed by Louie La Vella and written by Monica La Vella, the film follows Jake, a man documenting his wife’s battle with cancer. When her diagnosis turns terminal, desperation drives him to an ancient ritual and an attempt to bargain with the Devil. What begins as an effort to save the woman he loves spirals into kidnapping, demonic ritual, and the consequences of asking for something that should never be granted.

Matt Gallagher Heakes, Sabrina Knappett, Hannah Brennen, and JoAnn Bundock star. Made for under $10,000, the 72-minute feature marks FOUND TV’s move from exhibiting independent found footage to producing it. A new theatrical poster and never-before-seen stills accompany the announcement.

Physical-media collectors should take note. FOUND TV is producing a limited Blu-ray featuring an alternate ending that will never stream, and only 500 copies will ever be made.

“If someone is supporting an independent film by owning it physically, we wanted to give them something that can’t just be watched online later,” said director and FOUND TV co-founder Louie La Vella.
