Second Sight Films is giving Demián Rugna’s breakout Argentinian horror When Evil Lurks a deluxe physical release on 28 July 2025. The new Limited Edition box set arrives in a rigid slipcase sporting exclusive artwork and packs both UHD and Blu‑ray discs, with the main feature and supplements duplicated on each format.

The film made waves on the festival circuit, collecting Best Film at Sitges, Best International Film at the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards, and dual Audience and Critics Awards at Gérardmer. Reviewers praised Rugna for pushing possession horror into unsettling territory, earning the feature a reputation as one of the genre’s most talked‑about recent entries.
Set in a rural Argentine community overrun by a malevolent force, the story follows brothers portrayed by Ezequiel Rodríguez and Demián Salomón as they confront a rapidly spreading demonic presence.
