Terror Vision Films has released the theatrical roadshow trailer for Spirit Tasting, the new thriller from Chris LaMartina (WNUF Halloween Special), which makes its world premiere Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Baltimore’s historic Senator Theatre.
Billed as a post-punk riff on The Monkey’s Paw, the film follows three former punks (Sean Doherty, Melissa LaMartina, and Trevor Wilhelms) who toast their late bandmate at a distillery on New Year’s Eve. A strange sommelier (Matt Lake) invites them to a top-shelf tasting with one catch: every bottle requires a wish. As each desire twists into doom, the old friends learn that every pour at the Red Bat Distillery comes at a deadly price.
LaMartina directed and edited from a script he co-wrote with Michael Varrati. The cast also includes Matt Baughman, Cate Paris, and Tatiana Nya Ford, with cameos from Grady Hendrix, Clay McLeod Chapman, Peaches Christ, and Henry Zebrowski. Producers are Melissa LaMartina, Chris LaMartina, Varrati, and Ted Geoghegan, with Ryan Graveface as executive producer.
Spirit Tasting will tour as a roadshow with the filmmaker and select cast on hand for introductions and Q&As. Dates include Chicago’s Music Box on November 20, Minneapolis on November 21, Los Angeles’ Los Feliz 3 on December 5, Brooklyn’s The Twisted Spine on December 28, and Cinema Salem on December 31, with more stops running through January 17. A Blu-ray with a feature-length making-of documentary will follow.
