Buffalo 8 has released the exclusive trailer for The Offing, an upcoming thriller from writer-director duo Koko Crozier and Lily Lunder. The film will premiere on October 10, 2025, and will be available to stream on Amazon.
The story follows Neviah, a young woman who has escaped an abusive cult and is attempting to live quietly on a remote farm. Her fragile sense of safety is disrupted when Freya, a mysterious stranger, arrives seeking work. As unsettling visions and buried memories resurface, paranoia drives Neviah and Freya to flee toward the coast. Their road trip soon becomes a journey into shared trauma, culminating in a confrontation with the haunting realities of their pasts.
With its October release date, The Offing is positioned to capture audiences looking for a character-driven thriller as the fall season approaches.
