Dragonis Games and Iphigames have launched The Shore: Enhanced Edition on PlayStation 5, marking the acclaimed Lovecraftian horror adventure’s first-ever arrival on console. The game is available now on the PlayStation Store for $21.49.

Five years after its original PC debut, The Shore drops players onto a dark, abandoned island where a father searches for his missing daughter — only to find that ancient, unknowable gods have no intention of letting anyone leave. Built on cosmic dread and environmental storytelling, the Enhanced Edition is the most complete version of the game to date, rebuilt from the ground up for console players.

The atmospheric survival horror experience features exploration across Lovecraft-inspired landscapes — ruined villages, decayed shorelines, and impossible geometries — alongside eldritch encounters with creatures drawn from the deepest mythology of the Old Gods. Players collect artifacts of unspeakable power to survive, but as the press release notes, every power has a cost. Eerie puzzle-solving, immersive sound design, and whispers layered into the audio design compound the dread.

“Bringing The Shore to PlayStation 5 is something I have been dreaming about for a long time,” said Ares Dragonis, Founder of Dragonis Games. “The response from the community over the years has been overwhelming and today we finally get to deliver.”

Dragonis Games — whose catalog also includes Eresys and Necrophosis — partnered with Athens-based Iphigames on the port, with PQube handling physical distribution. A physical edition bundling The Shore: Enhanced Edition with Necrophosis: Full Consciousness is set for release on May 28, 2026. An Xbox Series X|S version is planned for later this year.

The Shore: Enhanced Edition is available now on PlayStation 5 via the PlayStation Store.
