Shudder’s July lineup kicks off with a bang: Touch Me, the psychosexual sci-fi horror-comedy written and directed by Addison Heimann, premieres exclusively on Shudder on July 3, 2026, for U.S. and Canadian subscribers.

The film follows Joey and Craig, two codependent best friends drifting through life when Joey’s ex, Brian, suddenly reappears — oh, and he’s an alien. His touch carries a heroin-like euphoria that leaves the pair addicted, even as Brian’s true motives — possible world domination among them — grow more unsettling by the day. Heimann builds the film as a darkly comedic, body-horror love letter to 1970s Japanese “pink films” and exploitation cinema, blending outrageous sexuality, surreal humor, and practical creature effects into something genuinely singular.
Olivia Taylor Dudley (The Magicians, Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension) stars as Joey alongside Jordan Gavaris (Orphan Black) as Craig and Lou Taylor Pucci (You) as the enigmatic alien Brian. An official selection at Sundance, SXSW, and the Fantasia International Film Festival, Touch Me arrives with real festival pedigree.
Touch Me premieres Friday, July 3, 2026, exclusively on Shudder — AMC Networks’ specialized service for horror, thriller, and supernatural content.
