Black Mandala and Del Toro Films have released the official trailer for Eyes of the Abyss, the upcoming survival horror thriller directed by Daniel de la Vega (On The 3rd Day, White Coffin). The film is set to make its world premiere at Cannes 2025 during the Marché du Film, as part of the Fantastic Galas presented by the Fantastic Pavilion.

Set deep in the South Atlantic Ocean, Eyes of the Abyss follows a soldier who awakens aboard a warship surrounded by corpses. With no clear memory of how she got there, she must rely on instinct and precision as she confronts incoming soldiers and a hostile force that blurs the line between life and death. The film uses a fragmented narrative structure and stylized visual design to examine psychological trauma in the aftermath of war.

Produced by Furia Films and Del Toro Films, Eyes of the Abyss continues a collaboration that includes prior genre titles now available globally. Uncork’d Entertainment has acquired distribution rights for North America, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
