The trailer has dropped for Dust Bunny, the feature directorial debut of Bryan Fuller (Hannibal, Pushing Daisies). The film, written and directed by Fuller, arrives in theaters on December 5, 2025.
Starring Mads Mikkelsen, Sophie Sloan, Sigourney Weaver, and David Dastmalchian, Dust Bunny follows Aurora, a 10-year-old girl who believes a monster has devoured her family. She turns to her neighbor, played by Mikkelsen, who moonlights as a hit man specializing in eliminating monsters. Guilt and suspicion grow when he realizes Aurora’s family may have been targeted by assassins meant for him, forcing the unlikely pair to confront both human and supernatural threats.
Produced by Fuller alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, Dust Bunny merges fantastical storytelling with grounded violence, exploring the blurred line between literal and figurative monsters. The film marks Fuller’s first feature after decades of acclaimed work in television, bringing his distinct visual and narrative style to the big screen.
Dust Bunny will open nationwide on December 5, 2025.
