Miracle Media will bring Trick and Treats, a bloody Halloween horror starring Malcolm McDowell (A Clockwork Orange) and Gary Busey (Point Break, The Buddy Holly Story), to UK digital platforms on October 19, 2026, following its release in the US. Eric Hector directs.
The film gives the nursery rhyme Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater a murderous twist. On Halloween, more than 200 years after the rhyme took shape, a twisted jack-o-lantern named Trick (voiced by McDowell) sits inside a decaying biker club on the highway. Pastor Joseph (Busey), convinced Trick is the pumpkin from the infamous lullaby, tries and fails to steal it. His warnings are dismissed as madness, but a group of young friends are about to learn there may be truth to the paranormal pumpkin tale.
While celebrating Halloween, Ashley (Loren Ledesma) and her costumed friends wind up at the roadside bar, where a gang of bikers holds them captive and threatens to torture and kill them. Just as hope seems lost, Ashley hears Trick’s voice echoing in her head. Is the ancient pumpkin trying to help, or does he have more murderous motives of his own?
The film is billed as a fearsome folklore fable with a torturous twist, aimed squarely at seasonal viewing.
