Alamo Drafthouse’s Drafthouse Exclusives label will release the award-winning absurdist horror film Littermates theatrically on November 6, 2026, for a full one-week run in Alamo theaters in major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Omaha, Raleigh, San Antonio, San Francisco, and the Twin Cities.

Set against the backdrop of a mysterious war, the film follows two disoriented survivors who take refuge at an isolated cottage in the English countryside. Liam (Joey Bader) and Mel (Kaylee McGregor) arrive bloodied, speechless, and unable to understand what has happened to them. Chester (Oliver Woolf), an enigmatic caretaker, bathes and feeds them and teaches them how to speak again.

As sirens, smoke, and distant threats press closer, the pair relearn simple tasks inside Chester’s carefully controlled world, earning “nifties” for good behavior that can be traded for karaoke, hot tub time, dance parties, and favorite meals. Mel, however, grows drawn to the woods, the locked gate, and the larger world Chester insists is too dangerous to enter. When her curiosity pushes past his rules, the fragile order of the cottage is tested.

Scott Tinkham (24 Hours After Reading Tuesdays with Morrie) and Michael Woloson co-write and co-direct the 88-minute feature. Executive producers include Haley Nicole Johnson (Obsession), Bader, Al Baker, Jake Kuhn, and Noah Stratton-Twine.

Littermates screened at Fantastic Fest 2026, won the Competition (Narrative) Feature Audience Award at DWF 2026, and took the Jury Prize for Feature at the Manchester Film Festival 2026.
