Universal Studios Hollywood will launch Universal Mega Movie Summer on Friday, June 13, running daily through Sunday, August 10, 2025. The new seasonal program brings film-inspired experiences, menu items, and merchandise to the park and CityWalk, positioning the event as a comprehensive summer offering for Los Angeles visitors.

Jurassic World—The Ride Featuring Mosasaurus Splash – The attraction’s 84-foot finale drop adds a Mosasaurus roar, four Spitter dinosaurs, and water geysers. A newborn dinosaur meet-and-greet character from the upcoming film Jurassic World Rebirth joins Blue, Juliet, and Baby Tango, alongside a Spinosaurus photo spot and a Compy scavenger hunt.

Jurassic-themed food and drink – Jurassic Café expands its menu, while Isla Nubar debuts the Jurassic Water Rebirth and Spicy Jurassic Pearadise cocktails.

Jaws 50th Anniversary – A restored hanging-shark photo op returns, plus Captain Quint and Chief Brody meet-and-greets. Jaws scenes will appear on the Studio Tour’s Hollywood Sign replica and at Jaws Lake.

Amity Island Café – Hollywood & Dine transforms with items such as a Lobster Roll, Shark Bite cocktail, and Shark Fin Funnel Cake.

Back to the Future 40th Anniversary – The screen-used DeLorean Time Machine appears near Mel’s Diner, where themed dishes like the Flux Capacitor Patty Melt will be served.

Universal CityWalk Hollywood will support the event with themed doughnuts at Voodoo Doughnut, live entertainment on the Five Towers Stage, and movie screenings at Universal Cinema, including Back to the Future on July 3.
Universal Mega Movie Summer complements existing attractions such as SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, and the signature Studio Tour.
