The West End hit 2:22 – A Ghost Story is making its New York premiere at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street), with previews underway since October 20, 2026 and an official opening on November 5, 2026. The run is strictly limited to 13 weeks, closing January 17, 2027.
The play centers on Lauren (Anna Camp), a new mother convinced something in her home wakes her at exactly 2:22 every night. When friends come over for dinner, secrets surface, skeptics are challenged, and the group decides to stay up and see whether a ghost really appears. The production is billed as both adrenaline-fueled and darkly funny.
Written by Danny Robins (The Battersea Poltergeist), 2:22 – A Ghost Story is directed by Matthew Dunster (Hangmen, The Hunger Games: On Stage) and Gabriel Vega Weissman (Guards at the Taj). Camp (True Blood, Pitch Perfect) stars alongside Emmy and Grammy winner Jasmine Cephas Jones (Hamilton, Blindspotting) as Jenny, Finn Jones (Iron Fist, Game of Thrones) as Sam, and Martin Marquez (Billy Elliot The Musical, Hotel Babylon) as Ben.
New York is the latest stop for a show that has already played seven West End engagements, two record-breaking UK tours, and more than 30 productions worldwide. It is produced by Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment, Isobel David, and Kater Gordon, by special arrangement with the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
2:22 – A Ghost Story plays the Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street, New York, through January 17, 2027. Tickets are available through the theatre’s box office.
