The Queen Mary, Long Beach’s historic ocean liner, is transforming into a holiday haven this December with its “12 Days of Christmas” event, set to run from December 12 to December 23, 2024. Tickets are available now on The Queen Mary’s website, with daily festivities priced at $25 per person.
Throughout the 12 days, visitors can partake in various family-friendly activities, including cookie decorating, gingerbread house building, and a festive Hot Cocoa Bar. The event opens with the grand Lighting of the Stacks Ceremony on December 12, where guests are invited to show off their holiday spirit by “Rocking Your Christmas Socks.” Additional special events include Krampus After Dark on December 13, offering a unique twist on traditional holiday celebrations, and a Snow Day on December 19 with real snow for guests to enjoy.
Each day presents fresh opportunities to engage with the holiday spirit, from Story Time with Mrs. Claus in the cozy Starboard Lounge to dance parties in the ship’s historic salons. Little ones can also send their holiday wishes directly to the North Pole via the North Pole Mailbox stationed at J.T. Jones Bookstore.
A Queen Mary Christmas Activity Pass, priced at $45, provides access to five holiday activities, while a season pass is available for $99, allowing guests to experience the entire 12-day event. Coins, required for select activities, can be purchased onboard.
For those seeking a memorable holiday experience, The Queen Mary’s 12 Days of Christmas offers a variety of festive activities for all ages.
