BayView Entertainment has released Mamochka, the latest indie horror feature from writer-director Vilan Trub, now available worldwide to rent or purchase on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video. The film centers on a haunted doll said to be possessed by the spirits of Nazis who created it during World War II, drawing from real historical tragedy to frame its supernatural premise.

The story explores themes of obsession through its lead character, Mark, as Trub blends dark subject matter with moments of tonal contrast. Prior to its digital rollout, Mamochka held extended theatrical preview screenings in New York and opened the 2026 Horror-on-Sea Horror Film Festival in the UK. Trub, whose previous BayView collaboration The Dirty Kind earned critical attention, returns with another genre-focused project that examines the enduring impact of evil through horror storytelling. BayView President Peter Castro praised the filmmaker’s understanding of genre subtext as the distributor continues expanding its horror catalog.
