Second Sight Films has announced a Limited Edition Blu-ray box set of Dead Man’s Shoes, Shane Meadows’s (This Is England, A Room for Romeo Brass) 2004 revenge thriller starring Paddy Considine, arriving August 10, 2026, loaded with new bonus features and collectible extras.

Dead Man’s Shoes follows Richard (Considine), a former paratrooper who returns to his hometown in the Midlands to confront the gang of thugs who tormented his vulnerable younger brother, Anthony. What begins as quiet psychological intimidation escalates into a brutal, methodical campaign of vengeance as Richard hunts the men down one by one.

Considine, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Meadows and Paul Fraser, leads a cast that includes Toby Kebbell (RocknRolla, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) and former boxing champion Gary Stretch (Alexander).

The Limited Edition set arrives in a rigid slipcase featuring new artwork by Krishna Shenoi, alongside a 120-page book of new essays from Anna Cale, Tim Coleman, Matt Glasby, Joel Harley, Ella Kemp, and Hannah Strong, a graphic novel adaptation, and six collectors’ art cards. New bonus features include audio commentaries with Meadows and producer Mark Herbert, plus new interviews with Kebbell and Stretch, deleted scenes, an alternate ending, and the short film Northern Soul.
