Pulp 2.0 Press has released Helloween: The Book of the Movie, the latest entry in publisher Bill Cunningham’s Cinexploits! series — a line of in-depth case studies examining the production of independent genre films. The book takes readers behind the scenes of Phil Claydon’s 2025 killer clown horror feature Helloween, produced by Jonathan Sothcott.

Helloween is set during the height of the 2016 “killer clown” craze, following Dr. Marks and journalist Parker as they trace a wave of disturbing clown sightings back to an escaped serial killer named Cane, who has been recruiting followers inside prison for an anarchist Halloween murder scheme. The film stars Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott, Michael Paré, and Ronan Summers, and arrived on digital and Blu-ray in September 2025 via Shogun Films.

The Cinexploits! imprint has previously explored films including Celluloid Wars: The Making of Battle Beyond the Stars, Death Kiss, and Celluloid Wars 2, a deep dive into Roger Corman’s Forbidden World. Earlier in the series, Cunningham also published Nemesis: The Book of the Movie, another Sothcott-produced title — making Helloween a natural continuation of that creative partnership.

The book features a digital review copy, cover art, a production information sheet, and select interior layout pages. Cunningham, who serves as both designer and publisher at Pulp 2.0 Press, has made himself available for additional materials and press inquiries.
