Netflix has announced its list of planned 2021 releases, with a preview video to match! This list features a huge collection of quality films from all genre types. With theaters remaining closed, Netflix has paired up with several studios to bring previously planned releases along with original feature films. The streaming superpower is definitely bringing their A-Game this year! Check out some of these planned releases!
The Harder They Fall: Western outlaw Nat Love reassembles his former gang to seek revenge against the man who murdered his parents. Directed by Jeymes Samuel, The Harder They Fall stars Jonathan Majors, Idris Elba, Zazie Beetz, Lakeith Stanfielfd, Delroy Lindo, and Regina King.
Bruised: Disgraced mixed martial arts fighter Jackie Justice has to face one of the rising stars of the MMA world and deal with the return of her 6-year-old son to the mother he deserves. Directed by Halle Berry, Bruised stars Halle Berry, Shamier Anderson, Adan Canto, and Sheila Atim.
The Woman in the Window: An agoraphobic psychologist befriends a neighbor across the street from her New York City brownstone condo, only to see her own life turned upside down when the woman disappears and she suspects foul play. Directed by Joe Wright, The Woman in the Window stars Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Julianne Moore.
Escape from Spiderhead: In the near future, two prisoners take part in a new drug test in order to shorten their prison sentences. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, Escape from Spiderhead stars Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, and Jurnee Smollett
Wendell and Wild: Two scheming demon brothers, Wendell and Wild Sanders must face their arch-nemesis, the demon-dusting nun Sister Helly, and her two acolytes, the goth teens Kat and Raoul. Directed by Henry Selick, Wendell and Wild stars Jordan Peele, and Keegan Michael Key.
Army of the Dead: A group of mercenaries plots a heist on a Las Vegas casino during a zombie outbreak. Directed by Zack Snyder, Army of the Dead stars Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Garret Dillahunt, Raul Castillo, and Omari Hardwick.
Sweet Girl: A devastated husband vows to bring justice to the people responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left, his daughter. Directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza, Sweet Girl stars Jason Momoa, Isabela Merced, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Raza Jaffrey, Adria Arjona, and Justin Bartha.
Outside the Wire: In the near future, a drone pilot sent into a war zone finds himself paired with a top-secret android officer on a mission to stop a nuclear attack. Directed by Mikael Håfström, Outside the Wire Stars Anthony Mackie, Emily Beecham, Michael Kelly, and Pilou Asbæk.

Things Heard and Seen: An artist relocates to the Hudson Valley and begins to suspect that her marriage has a sinister darkness, one that rivals her new home’s history. Directed by Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini, Things Heard and Seen stars Amanda Seyfried, James Norton, Natalia Dyer, Rhea Seehorn, Alex Neustaedter, and F. Murray Abraham.

Fear Street: In 1994, a group of teenagers finds out that the terrifying events that have occurred in their town of Shadyside, Ohio, may be connected to each other, and that they may be the next targets. Fear Street is based on the book series of the same name by R.L. Stine. It is planned to be the first film in a trilogy, each film being released one month apart.
Night Teeth: A young chauffeur picks up two mysterious women for a night of party-hopping across LA. But when his passengers reveal their true nature, and a dangerous underworld lurking in the shadows, he must fight to stay alive. Directed by Adam Randall, Night Teeth stars Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Debby Ryan, Lucy Fry, Alfie Allen, and Raul Castillo.
Kate: Kate A female assassin, who after being poisoned and given less than 24 hours to live, goes on a manhunt through the streets of Tokyo and befriends a daughter of a past target. Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, Kate stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Woody Harrelson, Michiel Huisman, and Tadanobu Asano.
There’s Someone Inside Your House: Makani Young, a senior transfer student from Hawaii, finds herself in the center of gruesome murder cases in her newly acquainted town of Osborne, Nebraska Directed by Patrick Brice, There’s Someone Inside Your House stars Sydney Park, Theodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, and Dale Whibley.
