Lionsgate is bringing the psychological horror sequel Capps Crossing: Wrong Side of Dead to VOD and Digital on July 28, 2026, and director Mike Stahl is steering the franchise into considerably darker territory.
When Amber’s birthday getaway in the woods takes a horrific turn, she and her friends find themselves targeted by a demented park ranger with a tortured past. A brilliant social profiler and stellar athlete, Amber is forced to use every tool in her arsenal to survive against a seductive and brutal killer — but nothing is what it seems. The film is rated R and runs 96 minutes; this isn’t a slasher sequel, it’s a proper psychological thriller that earns its blood.
Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation, Coal Miner’s Daughter, American History X) leads the cast alongside Sabina Gadecki (False Positive), Garrett C. Phillips (Nightbitch), and Shawna Della-Ricca (“Dave,” “Sunnyside”).
Capps Crossing: Wrong Side of Dead arrives on VOD and Digital on July 28, 2026, from Lionsgate.
