Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the team behind the Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, has announced Dark Masquerade, a new immersive after-hours experience taking over the historic ship for a limited engagement. The event opens Friday the 13th and runs through Saturday, February 14, offering a themed alternative for Valentine’s Day weekend.

Dark Masquerade transforms the Queen Mary into a multi-level evening experience combining a masquerade dance party with story-driven encounters led by Dark Harbor characters. Guests are encouraged to arrive in costume and explore the ship through a series of curated environments rather than traditional haunted mazes.
General admission includes access to The Ringmaster’s Dark Masquerade dance party, led by DJ Kiltrina, alongside several interactive walkthrough experiences. These include Gale’s Requiem, set in a rarely accessed section of the ship with live music and narrative performance; The Search for Mary, a guided exploration using a single glow stick through darkened corridors; and Sweethearts’ Slaughterhouse, a themed encounter blending storytelling, character interaction, and a small curated tasting element.

VIP admission adds expedited entry, priority access to Gale’s Requiem, and an exclusive experience titled Pressure Test: Bound Below. This segment places paired guests into a confined, performance-driven scenario deep within the ship’s lower decks, emphasizing sound, proximity, and atmosphere.
Dark Harbor’s in-season mazes and attractions will not be open during Dark Masquerade, which is positioned as a standalone, off-season experience focused on narrative immersion and environment.
